Our Books in Athens

The library of the Faculty of Philosophy at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens has been enriched with a facsimile copy of the Galician-Volyn Gospel (12th century)—one of the 12 books published so far within the "Returning the Cultural Heritage to Ukraine" project.

The number of university libraries abroad and private collections housing our books continues to grow. When we first envisioned this project, our goal was to return spiritual treasures to Ukraine. In the end, we are also making them accessible to everyone interested in Slavic studies and the history of Ukraine worldwide.

We extend our gratitude to Ms. Nastia Rybin, a student at the Faculty of Theology, Mr. Mateo, a Master's student at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and Father Onufriy (Kuts) for their support in distributing the facsimile editions of the "Returning the Cultural Heritage to Ukraine" project in Greece.
