The Galician-Volyn Gospel, 12th century

This edition is the first facsimile type publication of a monument of Ukrainian written language – the Galician-Volyn Gospel from the late 12th century, which is kept in the storerooms of the Russian State Tretyakov Gallery (K-5348). In terms of structure, it is a complete Gospel of the Day with an added menologion. The scientific part includes a historiographic, linguistic, orthographic and artistic study of the manuscript.
The literary monument is a valuable source for studying the Church Slavonic language of the Ukrainian recension.
